We would like to welcome you to the Wesley Chapel Weddington Athletic Association (WCWAA) Soccer Program. We have proudly served Union County and the surrounding areas since 1982. WCWAA Soccer started humbly with just 94 families with children ages 7 to 14 playing soccer at the Recreational level. Today, we currently have over 2000 families in our programs with children ages 3 to 18 playing at all skill levels. With our continued growth, WCWAA Soccer has risen to become one of the top programs in North Carolina.
The WCWAA Soccer Programs are focused on individual player development and team concepts of play. As a player matures, WCWAA is able to offer the more competitive environments of our Youth Academy, Classic and Premier levels of play. WCWAA also offers our “Take on Sports" Program which caters to children, ages 5 to 22, and adults 23 and older with special needs. This program provides an opportunity for these athletes to learn new skills, build physical fitness and self-esteem, and most of all have fun in a safe and positive environment.
WCWAA Soccer is committed to being actively involved in its local communities. We annually take on a leadership role in helping raise money for organizations such as the Union County Red Cross, CMC-Union Edwards Cancer Center an affiliate of Levine Cancer Institute, along with many others.
WCWAA Soccer's reach extends well beyond the Wesley Chapel and Weddington areas to include all of Union County, Charlotte/Mecklenburg County and into the State of South Carolina.
