The South Piedmont Junior Optimist Club has started a fundraiser to collect used sneakers and athletic shoes, which are then turned in to be recycled or re-sold. The Club gets a small commission on each sneaker that is in good or better condition. Funds raised will support their volunteer activities in our community. They have set up two drop boxes at Optimist Park –  one under the upper picnic shelter and one in the lower baseball complex under the Jeff Paul Pavilion.  Thank you for your support!
